ENPHE congress : CEERRF strengthens its pedagogy through internationalization
CEERRF made its mark at the annual ENPHE (European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education) congress, held from September 18 to 20 at LUNEX University in Luxembourg. This key event brought together students, educators, and researchers around the theme “The Future of Physiotherapy Education.” For CEERRF, this participation was a strategic opportunity to enrich its pedagogical vision, strengthen its Erasmus+ partnerships, and promote a rich, internationally-focused student experience.

A pedagogical vision pooted in innovation
CEERRF’s participation is part of a continuous improvement approach, aiming to integrate the best international practices into the core of its training. The numerous workshops and conferences provided an opportunity to explore future-oriented topics, such as the integration of artificial intelligence, new research approaches, and the development of global skills for future physiotherapists.
For Arnaud Cerioli, Director of CEERRF, the congress was “a privileged space for constructive exchanges and collective reflection.” He emphasized the importance of these meetings to “pursue partnerships, particularly around the implementation of OSCEs and the development of ‘Virtual exchange’ actions” as well as Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs), thus consolidating the school’s internationalization focus.
An Enriching and Recognized Student Experience
The involvement of students was one of the highlights of this edition. Their active participation demonstrates CEERRF’s commitment to placing the student experience at the center of its strategy.
Sarah Haddad, a final-year student, brilliantly presented her final-year dissertation during the poster competition. Her innovative research work was nominated and ranked among the top five presentations.
“Having the opportunity to present my work was a privilege. Meeting people from different cultures was a real asset and allowed me to question how aspects of my dissertation work in other countries.” – Sarah Haddad
Fanny Cardon, the new Erasmus+ student representative for 2024-2025, also played a key role as a CEERRF ambassador.
“This experience allowed me to proudly represent my training while developing a professional network on a European scale. Being an ambassador also gave me a real insight into research and emerging practices in our field.” – Fanny Cardon
Towards a collaborative and international future
CEERRF returns from this congress with renewed perspectives and strengthened partnerships. The future of physiotherapy will be written through collaboration, innovation, and a resolutely world-oriented training. The next meeting is already scheduled for the ENPHE forum in April 2026 at UC VIDEN University in Aalborg, Denmark.
