CEERRF at ENPHE 2025: Strengthening Erasmus+ and international physiotherapy partnerships

From April 10th to 12th, 2025, the CEERRF actively participated in the ENPHE Seminar (European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education), held in Breda, Netherlands, and hosted by the Avans University of Applied Sciences. This annual gathering focused on a central theme: The Future of Physiotherapy Education: Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities.”

Erasmus+
European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education

This event was a strategic opportunity for the CEERRF to expand its Erasmus+ partnerships and strengthen its presence within the international physiotherapy education network. Our delegation, made up of Emiliano Castillo (International Office), Kevin Tanguy (Virtual Exchange Coordinator), and Aurel Bellaiche, engaged in several working groups and networking sessions.

During the seminar, we advanced ongoing collaborations with ENPHE member universities, including joint thesis supervision, the development of Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) in English, and other innovative projects in line with the CEERRF’s internationalization strategy.

Participation in ENPHE’s working groups opened new possibilities—particularly in the areas of environmental physiotherapy, aligning with our EcoKiné initiative, as well as in research and global academic mobility.

This active presence reinforces the CEERRF’s commitment to European cooperation, pedagogical innovation, and the promotion of international mobility through Erasmus+, for both students and faculty.

The ENPHE 2025 seminar stands as a meaningful milestone in our vision for a globally connected physiotherapy education that values diversity, sustainability, and shared academic growth.
