As an employee, salaries are ranging from 1400 to 2400€ net on average (Private facility). As a liberal professional, the average is around 38000€ net per year.

Currently, the shortage of practitioners alongside the strong demand from patients protects professionals (employees and liberal professionals) from unemployment. Some geographical areas are so-called « over-populated » (Côte d’Azur …), but everyone can find his spot.

The Master of Science applied in Physical Therapy empowers professionals to operate under the regulation in force, mostly on medical prescription and fields corresponding to their skills. There is no specialty, even if practitioners sometimes move towards a specific exercise (pediatrics, sports …)

The attribution of the Master of Science applied in Physical Therapy by the final jury at the end of the fourth years’ period depends on the validation of all Teaching Units from the curriculum (240ECTS). For now, there is no equivalence with a Master 2, but this degree can be used as a link to other university courses (biomechanics …).

The 3 keys to success are: basic education (anatomy, pathology …), sciences and physiotherapy (skill component), learning and deepening (introduction to research and internships). Therefore, stakeholders have different profiles depending on the needs (practitioners, university …)

The repetition is adjudged when the required amount of yearly Teaching Units isn’t reached (less than 52 ECTS). In that case, the student follows the courses and validates the Teaching Units (UE) not obtained during the year preceding his repetition.

The training consists of lessons and courses in the institute and full-time internships in hospitals, private or public practices or even research labs for instance (2 per year and a fellowship during the fourth year). Empowerment of the student is the main purpose of this alternation through the validation of skills.

The curriculum is dense, combining basic teachings and reflexive learning. Failures and drop outs are not common. You will be accompanied by our team until you obtain the Master of Science.
