It’s Dr André DE SAMBUCY DE SORGUE (1909-1987) who created the « Fondation médico-gymnastique » (Medico-gymnastic foundation). Offices were located Lancry street in the 10th district of Paris. In 1948, he creates the 9 steps technique, which will be a model of inspiration for many physiotherapists.

In 1989, the educational team that took over the institute decided to settle in vast premises in Saint Denis, in a booming neighborhood. Today, these premises are still perfectly adapted, as the development of the district is always in constant renewal.

The IFMK CEERRF est bien inscrit par ses sources, dans l’histoire de la masso-kinésithérapie française.
